Professor Jian Mardukhi, Ph.D.
To learn better in this course, this is what I recommend:
- Read the chapter in the textbook
- Watch my lecture videos on the chapter
- Then, go back, redo section by section while pausing and repeating everything with all the details - this is the critical part since you can only claim you have learned if you can repeat everything from scratch and effectively teach it to someone else.
- After you do enough back and forth between your attempts to repeat and re-reading/re-watching, and after you can teach the content to someone else, you have effectively learned and should move on to the assignment questions and end-of-chapter questions in the textbook.
You should repeat this process every week for each chapter. We should cover one chapter each week. You should also repeat the same process to prepare yourself for the exams.
